Dealing

Deal passes around table for each hand, to the left. After shuffling, the dealer allows the player to his right to cut the deck.

Passing cards

Each player passes 3 cards to his left, across, or to the right. On the fourth hand, no cards are passed. Typically, the partner passes high cards or cards to empty his hand of one suit.

Tricks

The player with the two of clubs leads. No point cards may be played on the first trick. No point cards can be lead until a point card has been played on a trick. Play continues to the left until everyone has played a card. Players must follow suit unless they are out of that suit, in which case they may play any card. There is no requirement to play a higher card in the lead suit. High card in the suit that was led wins the trick.

After the play, each player counts the cards from the tricks they've pulled in for hearts and queen of spades. Each heart is worth one point. Queen of spades is worth 13 points. If a player wins all 26 points from a hand, his score is incremented by 0 and all the other players' scores are incremented by 26.

Game ends

The game ends when one or more players has a score of 100 or more. Then the player with the lowest score is declared winner. In the event of 2 or more players having the same low score, play continues until exactly one player has the lowest score.
